Eindhoven, The Netherlands – This Kingsday, April 26th, from 4 PM to 4 AM, step back in time with the sounds of house classics at Haussmann’s event at LAB-1 in Eindhoven. Located in the foyer of LAB-1, this event offers free entry to all who wants to experience the roots of house music.
Eric de Man
Eric de Man from Amsterdam has been a key figure in the house and techno scenes since the 90s. His career took off with a residency at the renowned Club Risk parties. Throughout the early 2000s, Eric became a fixture in the house music scene, performing at high-profile venues like Welcome to the Future, Now & Wow, and Extrema. With over three decades in the industry, Eric de Man continues to be a vital force in the music scene.
Fleur du Bonheur
Fleur du Bonheur is renowned for her deep dives into disco sound, transitioning smoothly between funk, boogie, and house. Her collection mainly features tracks from the late 70s and early 80s, ensuring a performance rich with groovy basslines and strong beats, complemented by compelling vocals. Fleur du Bonheur has graced the stages of several notable music festivals, including the Amsterdam Dance Event and Lowlands Festival.
D’Horse and McMac
Eindhoven’s own D’Horse and McMac return to bring their unique track selections and energy back to the city where they first made their mark as residents of Cafe Trace. Known for their performances, they guarantee a night with great, great, GREAT house music classics.
Jaimer Vincentie b2b Eric Valentine
They will take you back to the golden days of vinyl with their back-to-back session. Their performance will be a deep dive into the classic vinyl era, filled with timeless tracks and passion. They will grab their gab like they did in Café Puur, Kitsch and De Rechter.
Niels Mijnlieff:
A DJ with a longstanding passion for house music, stands out for his deep emotional connection to the genre. Known for his dedication to the core elements of house music Niels brings a unique expression to every set he performs. His enthusiasm for house music is evident in his performances, where he showcases not just his technical skills but also his profound understanding of house music.
Mr. Emmix
Known as the number one party DJ, will showcase his definition of house classics. Expect a set that brings together unexpected 90’s tracks.
Venue Spotlight: LAB-1
LAB-1 is not just a cinema but a multi-faceted cultural haven in the heart of Eindhoven. With its retro-vintage ambiance, this venue combines the thrill of movie-going with the excitement of live events. Featuring two professional event spaces, a club/dance floor, and a bar, along with an outdoor area for open-air summer films, LAB-1 provides the perfect backdrop for our King’s Day celebration.
Rain or shine, the party thrives indoors, complemented by outdoor speakers that extend the festive atmosphere to the streets. While the outdoor festivities wrap up at 11:00 PM, Haussmann continues the revelry inside until 4:00 AM.
